  • introduction

Signal processing is a multidisciplinary field crucial in the world of engineering and applied sciences. It deals with the manipulation, analysis, and transformation of signals to extract useful information. This course covers a range of fundamental and advanced topics in signal processing, from understanding deterministic signals to spectral analysis and estimation.

In this module, we will explore essential concepts of signal processing, starting with an introduction to deterministic signals and their processing. We will also study the sampling of analog signals, manipulation of discrete signals, as well as random processes and the systems that model them. We will delve into the synthesis of digital filters and spectral analysis and estimation techniques, which are powerful tools for understanding signal behavior in the frequency domain.
