Representation of Poles and Zeros
Representation of the poles and zeros of the transfer function \(H(Z)\) in the complex plane.
The poles Pj are denoted by crosses, while the Zeros Zi are indicated by circles in the complex plane.
Example : Example
\(H\left(Z\right)=\frac{0.2}{1-0.8Z^{-1}}=\frac{0.2Z}{Z-0.8}\)
In this case, Z1=0 is a zero and P1=0.8 is a pole.
