Information technology (IT) provides a technical foundation that facilitates Knowledge Management System (KMS) implementation. It also provides a means by which a strong theoretical foundation for Knowledge Management (KM) can be implemented because it is used in all the life cycle stages of KM. As well, knowledge processing requires the discipline of engineering knowledge in order to solve complex problems normally requiring a high level of expertise, currently used in management information systems (MIS) domains, with artificial intelligence (AI), decision support systems, business intelligence (BI), software architectures and others. In this context, this course is intended for students of the 2nd Year ISMI & RT - Semester 3 of our computer systems engineering department.
